Doris/Magee are Derek O'Connor and Ian Whelan: the duo have been collaborating on various theatre and film projects for over a decade. Most recently, O'Connor and Whelan have been filmmakers in residence for the Leviathan Political Cabaret, a popular live monthly show hosted by economist and author David McWilliams. C: The Brian Cowen Story is Doris Magee's trailer for an imaginary Brian Cowen biopic – it caused a minor tabloid stir and rapidly became an Irish YouTube fave.
